A reader asked to see more of the Barbie smackers! Part 1 of this post is available by clicking here.

The Dazzling Dream holiday collection featured the dolls in glamorous formal wear πŸ™‚

The flavors were Vanilla Sugar Cookie Shimmer, Glamour Girl (haha), Sugar Celebration, and Peppermint Frost-

barbie-doll-smackersThere were also doll exclusive smackers that were included with the 2007 Birthday Barbies.

Teresa, Nikki, and Barbie all had a flavor that matched their dress. You can still find these sets on eBay/Amazon if you’re so inclined.

Β  Sprinkled Cupcake, Vanilla Frosting, Berry Sweet.

The toy rings are cute too

I don’t know about you guys but this has been one hot week so far.Β  With that in mind, there is no better way to wrap up this warm weather than to dig out the most summery smackers I can think of–the Australian smackers!

This cute limited edition 6-piece set was designed all the way back in 2000 for the Sydney Summer Olympics.

It’s especially cool because it is themed from top to bottom, from the tin…

…to the cardboard packaging…

…and of course to the adorable Lip Smackers themselves πŸ˜€

All of the smackers have a shiny metallic label that is decorated with cute art that matches the name.

Surfin' Strawberry

Some fishies on Surfin’ Strawberry :]

Β I love that the names are themed too. Bubble Gum Tree!

Kooka Berry

Here’s Kooka Berry which is named after the Kookaburra bird.

Apparently the Kookaburra are known for their bird-call because it sounds like maniacal, almost human-like laughter. Here’s a youtube vid.

Wild Berry BoomerangWild Berry Boomerang. What do you call a boomerang that doesn’t come back? A stick. Groan… πŸ˜€

If you noticed that these flavors are quite similar to the cosmic/shimmer collection, you’d be right. Below is the yummy Ayers Rock Candy.

Ayers Rock CandyAccording to Wikipedia, Uluru (also known as Ayers Rock) is a “large sandstone rock formation in the southern part of Australia.”

I think “Uluru Rock Candy” sounds pretty cool in a spacey way.

Koala LimeLastly is Koala Lime which wins the award for Most Precious Thing on the Planet.Β Lime also happens to be one of Bonne Bell’s best flavors.

I’ve always heard that koalas are really mean but I am just going to keep pretending they’re Australia’s tree kittens. πŸ˜›

Speaking of kittens, here’s mine enjoying Wild Berry Boomerang. Well the cap, anyway.

Just a quick post… who had this delicious set back in the mid-90’s?

They have very accurate formulas and both have kept their strong scent despite pushing two decades old πŸ™‚ Strawberry Chocolate had a lovely red tint that showed up when worn while Raspberry Chocolate has a colorless balm.

They also came with a keyring cap–if anyone has that version we’d love to see a picture!

Cinnamon Sugar

Today I was thinking about Cinnamon Sugar again. I’m still holding out hope that Bonne Bell will bring back this popular mid-90’s Holiday flavor!

The one I have hasn’t held its scent, which is understandable since it is a lighter one to begin with, but it was flawless back in the day.

If it doesn’t make a comeback in the normal smackers line then I would love to see a re-debut in the upcoming holiday collection– actually, I really want a cinnamon stick and wintergreen type flavor again!

Lip Smacker Refreshment collectionHere’s a picture of the limited edition back-to-school set done some years ago called Refreshment Time. These smackers came in a cute zipper bag which was perfect for pencils and other school supplies πŸ™‚

What were/are your favorites from this collection?

I always liked Fresh Apple Cider and Berry Grape Quencher because it is so hard to find those flavors regularly!

Berry Grape Quencher, Fresh Apple Cider, Raspberry Peach Punch, Cherry Cola Punch, Citrus Cooler, Kiwi Squeeze

Also I updated the Wall’s post with some new info I found, including a better picture of the 8 flavors that will be in the party pack.
