6 shimmer Smackers are included. They are classic flavors though a couple have a cute spin on the name:

* Calypso Berry
* Cotton Candy Castle (aww)
* Bubble Gum
* Marshmallow Wish
* Vanilla Lights
* Strawberry Stars

If you like their glittery balms then you will definitely like this set. I think Marshmallow Wish is my favorite this time around, though it’s impossible to ignore their Strawberry stuff πŸ˜€

The new artwork is lovely. I really like the details on Marshmallow and Vanilla’s designs–

lip-smacker-ariel-2013I mentioned in an older post that there are a few Holiday tins. I think a Daisy/Minnie tin and a Milkshake themed tin paired with the new retro smackers.

If you bought them please feel free to share pics! The tins alone are worth having, they’re well made and look cute with everything.

I can’t say for sure where these are available since I bought them online buuut hopefully they’ll be on the webstore with the other Holiday stuff.

ramel Apple Lip SmackerHere’s a couple of pics of the new Caramel Apple Lip Smacker. I have to say, BB nailed this flavor this time around.

I love the Halloween set they did a few years back, but that Caramel Apple had more of a floral thing going on scent-wise.

However this formula is probably as close to its namesake as you can get in lip balm form πŸ™‚ It’s perfect.

Also yay for the Holiday preview Lip Smacker posted on their facebook!! The new packaging is great, but I’m not gonna lie, I’m suuuuuper excited about the flavors this season:

* Ribbon Candy
* Sprinkle Cookie
* Cherry Chocolate
* Candy Cane
* Buttercream Frosting
* Sugar Plum
* Peppermint Cream
* White Chocolate
* Candied Cranberry
* Snowball Cookie
* Pomegranate Punch
* Gumdrop

I need White Chocolate in my life asap!

Contest over. The secret # was 35. Congrats Tanya!

I’ll do more again soon!

Earlier I noticed I have an extra vintage (circa 1980’s?) Dr Pepper Lip Smacker and I thought: who better to share it with than one of you guys?!

So if you’ve been dreaming about adding a vintage Lip Smacker to your collection maybe now is your chance.

Picture time:

Vintage Dr Pepper

As you can see this unused Dr P smacker is the regular .14 oz size. This particular font was used before the block-letter style (introduced around ’89 – ’90) that so many of us love. Looks similar to their current logo, yeah? πŸ˜€

This is just going to be a quick drawing for the daily readers… so post a comment with a unique number from 1 to 100 and whoever is closest will win this smacker. Please keep it honest (one entry each!) and to be eligible you’ll have to live in the US–shipping is just too expensive elsewhere right now.

Contest closes at 11:59 PM EST tomorrow (Saturday the 21st). Make sure to use a real email address so I can contact you.

Good luck!

Caramel Apple

of BB)

Yay to BB for bringing back Caramel Apple! If you didn’t know, you can pick it up online at their web store by clicking here.

I can’t wait to get mine in the mail. I think it is a classic flavor and I always like anything -apple flavored that BB does. The drizzle-y caramel packaging is cute too!

If that got you in the Autumn/Halloween spirit like it did me, I recommend the yummy Halloween collection from a few years ago (which also has Caramel Apple).

It looks like they are also bringing out some beautiful 6-pack tins for the holidays, sort of like the Skittles ones they did awhile ago. So far I’ve spotted The Little Mermaid, Minnie, and milkshake themed tins.

I’ll probably be grabbing the Ariel tin because it appears to have redone labels and flavor names.

Please let me know if you spot anything else! This is a BUSY & fun time of year for us addicts, ha πŸ˜€

I have some cool news! Last summer I posted a preview of what the new retro Dr Pepper biggy Lip Smacker might look like and it turned out to be pretty accurate–

(sorry for the bad pictures, it’s a super shiny tube and it was really hard to photograph!)

Pretty sure I have this logo on a t-shirt somewhere, ha πŸ˜€

vintage-dr-pepper-logo-t-shirt-galleryI won’t comment on the formula since we all know it is perfection, so I’ll just say I’m liking the design a lot especially the darker red color and worn look.

The retro styles BB have done this year are FUN & I’m happy they decided to go through with this one!
