I’ve been wanting to post a few older Holiday sets, starting with a very early 90’s collection featuring the original Cherry, Pina Colada, Blueberry, and Bubble Gum.

lip-smacker-reindeer

This little reindeer stocking was sold with many different flavors (e.g. Grape, Watermelon, Luscious Lemon etc.), letting you choose which set you liked the most. I suppose having fewer flavors in general meant they did things a bit different back then πŸ˜›

Cute little Christmas-y string:

‘How to Wear’ on the back made me smile. We totally need to bring back the ponytail-smacker:

A couple of pictures of the new Disney stuff…

disney-mickey-smackersAww @ Minnie and Daisy with the presents :]

* Mickey – Vanilla Mint
* Minnie – Raspberry Ribbon
* Daisy – Sugar Cookie
* Donald – Marshmallow
* Cinderella – Vanilla Sparkle
* Snow White – Cherry Kiss
* Belle – Tea Party Treats
* Rapunzel – Magical Glow Berry

The princesses’ art is a slight redo of the last redo (ha), so if you’re a full-on fanatic they’re probably worth grabbing. However, the flavors are unfortunately repeats.

I’m semi-obsessed with Mickey’s Vanilla Mint from this set. I just love when they do flavors like this. Donald’s (non-shimmer!) MarshmallowΒ is a good one too; nice and simple. And while I’m almost positive Minnie’s Raspberry Ribbon is the exact same as the other Ribbon Candy this holiday,Β  I totally wore my nose out trying to tell πŸ™‚ They’re super strong formulas.

Crossing fingers we see the rest of the Holiday stuff in stores soon!

christmas-4-packThe Holiday stuff I ordered from the webstore arrived today!

I think I’ve mentioned before how much I love the new carton packaging. It’s perfect because you can open the smackers without ruining the cute art.

Overall the presentation is just higher quality. I’d love to see everything smacker-related get this treatment πŸ˜€

The 4-pack snowman pictured on left is called the Cookie Lover’s collection, and it comes with Buttercream Frosting, Sprinkle Cookie, White Chocolate, and Snowball Cookie.

I think everyone has been looking forward to White Chocolate– it’s a shimmery low-key vanilla cream with just a hint of chocolate. It’s a bit different than I expected but I like that it is mild enough to wear a lot without it being too sickly-sweet. What do you guys think?

Snowball Cookie is the other shimmer balm and it reminds me of a vanilla cookie. But there’s another flavor in there that I can’t quite place. Any ideas?

Everyone is already familiar with Sprinkle Cookie & Buttercream Frosting so I won’t go into those, but I am glad they brought b.cream back.

There’s also Sugar Plum, Ribbon Candy, and Candy Cane which came in the regular packaging.

sugar-plum-ribbon-candyI think Ribbon Candy is the highlight of this trio with its super sweet raspberry candy flavor. Sugar Plum leans more toward the floral formula that we’re familiar with from past versions, while Candy Cane is the softer mint flavor. I wish Candy Cane was just a bit stronger.

I’m hoping that Cherry Chocolate, Candied Cranberry, Pomegranate Punch, Gumdrop, and Peppermint Cream will be available soon. Maybe those are a store exclusive?

I’ll cover the new Disney stuff in another post this week!

ramel Apple Lip SmackerHere’s a couple of pics of the new Caramel Apple Lip Smacker. I have to say, BB nailed this flavor this time around.

caramel-apple-2

I love the Halloween set they did a few years back, but that Caramel Apple had more of a floral thing going on scent-wise.

However this formula is probably as close to its namesake as you can get in lip balm form πŸ™‚ It’s perfect.

Also yay for the Holiday preview Lip Smacker posted on their facebook!! The new packaging is great, but I’m not gonna lie, I’m suuuuuper excited about the flavors this season:

* Ribbon Candy
* Sprinkle Cookie
* Cherry Chocolate
* Candy Cane
* Buttercream Frosting
* Sugar Plum
* Peppermint Cream
* White Chocolate
* Candied Cranberry
* Snowball Cookie
* Pomegranate Punch
* Gumdrop

I need White Chocolate in my life asap!

Caramel Apple

Yay to BB for bringing back Caramel Apple! If you didn’t know, you can pick it up online at their web store by clicking here.

I can’t wait to get mine in the mail. I think it is a classic flavor and I always like anything -apple flavored that BB does. The drizzle-y caramel packaging is cute too!

If that got you in the Autumn/Halloween spirit like it did me, I recommend the yummy Halloween collection from a few years ago (which also has Caramel Apple).

It looks like they are also bringing out some beautiful 6-pack tins for the holidays, sort of like the Skittles ones they did awhile ago. So far I’ve spotted The Little Mermaid, Minnie, and milkshake themed tins.

I’ll probably be grabbing the Ariel tin because it appears to have redone labels and flavor names.

Please let me know if you spot anything else! This is a BUSY & fun time of year for us addicts, ha πŸ˜€
