Psst, what’s this?

Is that what I think it is…?  😮

It is! The new Tsum Tsum Lip Smackers are here! And they might be the cutest yet.

We have the sweet kitten Marie (from the Aristocats) in Love in Pear-y, a hoppin’ Tigger in Bouncy Bubble Gum,  an adorable Donald in Jelly Quackers, and an all too precious Dumbo in Peanut Butter Shake.

The Aristocats is one of my favorite Disney movies, and Marie’s Love in Pear-y might just be my favorite Tsum Tsum flavor! It’s a lovely floral pear that I wish I could bottle up in a perfume. Truly any cat lover will be over the moon with this balm 🙂

Dumbo’s little hat, trunk, and rosy red cheeks make him too cute for words, but his Peanut Butter Shake flavoring falls a bit short. I don’t pick up on much peanut at all! It’s a bit more of a burnt caramel if anything. A circus peanut flavor would have been a home-run here.

Lip Smacker always does justice to their bubble gum flavors, and Bouncy Bubble Gum pairs perfectly with Tigger. The formula seems a bit more mild initially but then the classic scent comes through.

And if you’ve liked the recent cranberries LS has put out, you’ll enjoy Jelly Quackers. The first note is similar to the burnt scent I picked up in Dumbo’s flavor, then it transitions into cranberry. I do actually like the ‘burnt’ scent, even though I can’t really identify it, it’s a nice change from the cookie filler every other formula had.

Another really fun collection! Keep in mind the Disney balms have never had a ton of scent innovation, it’s usually a re-imagining of past scents. I hope the Tsum Tsum family continues to grow, I’d love to see a princess collection (Ariel please 🙂 )

These will be available in stores this July and on Lipsmacker.com in August!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas and received lots of smackers! I had a bit of a Christmas miracle because Markwins helped me acquire some of the recent flavors I’ve had trouble finding. I’ll be reviewing them this week starting with the very anticipated Tsum Tsums Lip Smackers.

I have to say, younger kids are going to go crazy for these. They’re essentially toys with built-in lip balms and the chunky design definitely lends to that idea. These are the perfect stocking stuffer or party favor.

They’re also fun to roll around on the floor for your cat. Not that I did that or anything…

The designs really are cool, though a few fans have pointed out there’s a bit less lip product than usual. I can see how that would be the case so keep that in mind with the higher price point.

Overall these are a great addition to the Lip Smacker lineup and a welcome change. There’s a lot to love here for us older fans and I think on some level these scratch a nostalgic itch I didn’t realize I had. They remind me a lot of those 80s/90s kid’s shampoo with the rubber character heads.

I’d love to see 4 more Tsum Tsum balms (for a full set of 8, please) and the same idea applied to other smacker products. Maybe some cute mini lotion bottles or body sprays. Holiday themed ones too! Since I’m probably getting ahead of myself, I’ll settle for a Piglet Bubblegum version  😛

So what do you guys think?

(PS: If you’re having trouble finding any of the new flavors, check out lipsmacker.com – many of the holiday smackers are there now, as well as the Tsum Tsums, Sriracha, and the Smoothie Chillerz, which I’ll also be reviewing soon)

Look what I stumbled across! These are undeniably adorable but it’s impossible to tell it’s LS! I’m really surprised. What do you guys think?

Hi guys! Lemme just say, I had no clue Frozen SPF Lip Smackers were coming out. And I have no idea where they are being sold, though I suspect the usual places.  A friend grabbed these for me online so I really have no info.

This will not be reviewed until I somehow find a second set, so I can’t speak on the formulas. I’ll say that I really like the dainty label artwork for Elsa and Anna and I think it’s a cute idea to pair them with SPF smackers.

The flavors are Perfect Berry Sunshine (Elsa), Summer Citrus Punch (Olaf), and Sweet Melon Breeze (Anna)frozen-spf-lip-smackers
