I gave the blog a facelift last night and I think it looks much cuter! Please let me know if it gives anyone any problems.

Lip Smacker – 2000 Cookies

I thought we’d say goodbye to 2012 with a look at what is now considered a rather old smacker; 2000 Cookies! It was released in 1999 for the holidays and to celebrate the coming millennium, along with Berry Jelly Donut, Nilla Mint Frost, Candy Confetti, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Sugar Plum.

I’ve gotten a handful of emails about this collection–in particular this flavor–and so I think it’s made a good impression over the years. No wonder, it’s so sparkly and pretty! I miss that. Let’s hope there are more shimmery styles in Lip Smacker’s future 😀

    I love the new layout of the blog, it’s very cute. I remember 2000 cookies, I wore it alot. Yesterday I was at Target and I got a Lip Smacker that said Bubble Gum Kisses on it and the label has lips and x’s and o’s on it. I never seen it before, maybe it was supposed to be for Valentine’s? It came in a set with a nail polish and a liquid Lip Smacker.

      Hi Tanya, sounds like the new Valentine’s collection! I’m guessing it looks a lot like this set from last year (and also 2011).

      I’m glad you let me know, I was wondering when we were going to see Valentine’s stuff. If you don’t mind, I’ll mention it in the next blog post with credit to you 🙂

    I finally found something similar smelling as 2000 cookies!!!!!!! Its lip Smackers Girl Scout Cookies – Shortbread! It brings me back everytime I smell it! Its not glittery, but the smell is still amazing! So glad I found a resemblance. 🙂

    This was my all-time favorite! (Along with the mint chocolate one which I believe was in the same collection). I still think of this one from time to time and miss it very much!
