LS news had made 2015 pretty sad so far, plus it’s cold and awful outside (at least here!). Here’s something tropical to look at–I like the fruit treasure-chest in the bottom left.

And just to frustrate us the tubes are refusing to face the right way 😀

  1. Bunny Cookie, what are all the flavors? I’m guessing it’s kiwi, tropical punch, mango, passion fruit, piña colada, and guava. I love how all of these have the clip on caps and a necklace. It reminds me of the Cosmic Smackers sets. Bunny Cookie, may you please please PLEASE do a review on the Cosmic Smackers? I’ve been waiting a long time for you to review them.

I’d say you nailed the flavors, Renee! Well done! 😀

      • I just guessed by the colors. I’ve tried all of the flavors in this collection before (not this specific collection, but other ones with these flavors). I liked all of them except for guava. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or what, but it smelled more of black pepper than anything.

        • I avoided the guava because a lot of people say its bad. lol I ordered the other flavors last week though.

    • Yup I agree with MrsWelton, you are correct! Those are my guesses too…the flavors aren’t listed on the back of the package.

I haven’t forgotten about cosmic smackers I promise!

  2. Bunnycookie its so interesting to see all these vintage flavours! I always wonder how you manage to find these sets! And still in perfect original packaging too. Does it take you a while to find them? Im still looking for vintage sets but ive had no luck. Guess they will be in even more demand from the recent news!

  3. I miss Tangerine 🙁

  4. This picture makes me happy. I like all those flavors too except Guava. Great minds think alike! 🙂

  5. These sets take me back! My favorite was the Bubble Gum, Raspberry Chocolate, Orange Pop, Dr Pepper, Blueberry and Peppermint. Ah, I bought all of these sets, but quite a few of that specific one. Wish I would of kept one in the package. I loved the themes and the artwork. I actually liked this particular Guava, it was fresh and fruity. I remember when it went bad it obviously didn’t smell right, smelled like an old crayon, but I loved it when it was fresh. The newer one smells more sour and is definitely a completely different formula. I wouldn’t be mad if Markwin’s did something similar to these. I love themes and have always dreamt of a carnival themed set, even though some are already in existence. Elephant Ear, Cotton Candy, Fried Cookie Dough, Watermelon Snow Cone, Funnel Cake, Candy Apple, Salt Water Taffy…you get the idea.

Yes, I still have my Peppermint, Bubblegum, Dr. Pepper, Blueberry, and Orange Pop. Not Raspberry Chocolate tho. I stupidly threw out that one, but I remember the original package they came in. It was like in a candy shop setting with the gumball machine in the background. I don’t quite remember remember the name of this set. I wish I had collect more of these when I was younger especially the tropical treasures set. I love Tropical, fruity flavors. Back then, I saw them more as a necessity rather than just a hobby. Over the past two years, I became much more appreciative of them and decided to not ever throw out the rest of my old lip smackers.

  6. A carnival set would be heavenly!! And bunny cookie Tangerine was definitely one of my old time favorites. Have you ever used it?? I remember Blueberry as well. Reminded me of yogurt. I absolutely LOVED the Bubble gum tho, Sooo glad I found a few singles. Well, I couldnt help myself, I got a Girl Scout cookie Set with Peanut Butter, Thin Mint and Chocolate peanut Butter, and Two liquids as well. I also got a Paul frank set with Red Velvet Cheesecake and Angel Food cake, With two liquids which were Hot Cocoa Mint and Chachis Lollipop Hearts. Has anyone tried PF? I have yet to actually use a Paul frank Lipsmacker. Are they good?? These were 9.50 from a seller on Ebay.

  7. Maria- The Paul Frank ones are very unique and amazing quality. So many great flavors from that line, it’s really hard to name just one. You will love the Red Velvet Cheesecake! Smells just like it’s name, reminds me of the Cheesecake Factory. Love the Chachi’s Fried Ice Cream, if you can get your hands on that. I smell honey, faint cinnamon sugar, and a very marshmallow-y vanilla, with a little heavier ‘fried’ note I think people mistake for chocolate. I seem to pick up all the notes in this one, very reminiscent of fried ice cream. Also love the Spicoli’s Spumoni (kind of pistachio-y, cherry-ish like the ice cream) Rainbow Sherbet, Amaretto Biscotti, Worry Bear’s Honey Sweet, Spicoli’s Caramel Corn, Chocolate Cherry. Clearly, I loved the Paul Frank line quite a bit 😉

What do you remember about Tangerine? I feel like most tangerine scents compared to orange are more tangy. Never got to try Tangerine 🙁

  8. Tangerine was absolutely amazing. It was perfect. Can’t say it was tangy but it wasn’t overly sweet either. And yea I was thinking about getting the PF Spumoni. Looks yummy! There’s a lot of em I’ve considered but ima wait till I try the ones I got before I jump to buy the Party Pack.
