I guess this trio has the same name as the last sundae collection. Don’t get excited though, that isn’t Cinnamon Sugar. Berry Pie is cute though.

How is vanilla bean? Is it like the original vanilla or french vanilla? I have berry pie from the christmas collection, which is very nice. 🙂

I wish they would’ve done something like key lime pie!

I wish they would’ve done that with the Tiana Disney Princess Lip Smacker. The kiwi flavor that’s used is just eww. Key lime pie would’ve been a much better flavor.

Kiwi is definetly a tarter flavor. l lost my kiwi pie smacker when I was on my college campus. lol To me at least, lunar lime from the 90s cosmic collection kind of reminded me of key lime pie.

I like the original kiwi flavor, but the shimmer one smells different.

I have the original kiwi now, but don’t really remember my kiwi pie shimmer; I only had it for like a month. I like my kiwi too, really refreshing. 🙂

I just picked this up last week! I was so excited to see cinnamon sugar, but was very disappointed. To me, it smelt like all the Carmel flavors they’ve been putting out. They all smell generally the same to me….and they all make me sick, just too strong I guess.
I like berry pie though. But the vanilla bean is the winner for me! It’s a very rich vanilla…the first though I had bath and body works vanilla bean Noel, except it doesn’t have the musk, it’s a lighter scent than that though but I really like it! I also just finally found the donut trio and I do love that one, cake donut being my favorite 🙂

I’m looking forward to these if I can ever find them. Does anyone know where I can get them? I’ve only checked Target so far, and they didn’t have them.

I haven’t been able to find this collection anywhere.

Okay, I finally found this at a different Target. It also came with Butter Brickle. I was really surprised to see they are shimmery. It does say that on the back of the package, but because they are in the plain labels, I thought they’d be non-shimmery. Because of that, I’m kind of glad I skipped the Ice Cream Dreams collection from this past Christmas.

  5. This is a set that is going to be released in another month or so. It has one other lip smacker with the set, it’s a brown tube and it’s flavor is “butter brinkle” it’ll be in stores and on the lipsmacker.com webpage.

I noticed Bonne Bell is releasing a lot of the same flavors. There are a few exceptions, like with the cranberry flavor that came in the Minnie Mouse tin set, but it seems as if they’re few and far between.

I really like the Original Kiwi.

  7. I would like to know who is in charge of the cinnamon flavs. Since when is cinnamon pink? the new release of cinnamon sugar, holiday cinnamon swirl, and this cinnamon swirl all have pink on the tubes. Real cinnamon is a lovely color…brown bark with a hint of orange. I love the color of the original cinnamon sugar tube. Its like making a grape flavor tube yellow, or a strawberry tube blue. Bonne Bell used to be good at designing/coloring the balms. And the formula…gross! burnt toast/caramel is NOT cinnamon. Its the 3rd one they messed up. Maybe they let foreign ppl do the cinnamon? And what is up with all the repeats? Maybe its a good thing BB sold to Markwins..

PS when is markwins officially taking over? Does anyone know?? and has anyone tried the chocolate mint yet?

    • Stef on March 6, 2015 at 5:07 PM said:

Mel, Markwins is officially taking over at the end of the month, April 1st. So I believe, they would have a new website on April 1st. If you want more information type in lip smackers on Google and click news, there’s a bunch of news articles including one from Today.com which is about less than a month old on what the new owners are going to do with the new company.

And yeah, I agree with you, the flavors and design of the packaging are going downhill. I also agree with you on the cinnamon stick with the color and smell. Have you ever heard of or bought Yankee Candle fragrances? If so, they do have cinnamon sugar and it smells different than from LS (of course they do have some off scents). Seriously though, LS should partner with YC for “true” flavors and scents.

      • Renee on March 6, 2015 at 8:15 PM said:

Actually, Lotta Luv has partnered with Yankee Candle and they made a few lip balms. I never tried them though.

      • Celeste on March 6, 2015 at 9:03 PM said:

I’m not sure if there is even going to be a website to purchase lip smackers anymore. I went to the Markwins site and you can’t buy anything onlie it all says “find in store”. This is why I stocked up on smackers when I could. I look forward to my biggys coming in. 🙂

The cinnamon that I remember was a sweet cinnamon ice cream flavor that they did in 2004 for the pet pals holiday collections. That was a actual cinnamon scent/flavor!

They could’ve done a red tube for cinnamon instead of pink. These 3 new flavors are nothing special, berry pie was already done for the last holiday season.

      • Renee on March 7, 2015 at 12:14 AM said:

I know! I remember when there were Lip Smackers in all kinds of wacky flavors. It didn’t seem like they relied on repeats as much as they do now.

        • Celeste on March 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM said:

Wacky and creative! I miss those days. 🙂

          • Renee on March 7, 2015 at 1:36 PM said:

Did you know the vanilla mint flavor is close to the mint jubilee (pardon my spelling) flavor that was in the 2008 holiday collection?

  8. Celeste on March 7, 2015 at 7:28 PM said:

I faintly remember it, Renee. I more vividly remember “cupcake’s nilla mint” from the ’04 holiday pet pal collection. That was a true vanilla mint, the mint had a slight cooling effect. The vanilla mint they have now reminds me of after dinner mints. lol

Ooooooh I just saw this at walgreens last week…. I hope it is still there!! I really want the vanilla bean!

  10. Maria on March 22, 2015 at 8:54 PM said:

I jus ordered this and the Donut Collection.

  11. Maria on March 23, 2015 at 9:28 AM said:

Yes that one and Vanilla bean are why I ordered them. Alson Confetti Sprinkles. Never had a Sprinkles Lipsmacker. And I’m aware Cinnamon Swirl isn’t that great but I’ve never had a Cinnamon Lipsmacker either.

I just bought this collection at Target today! I think it’s cool that they have the original Lip Smacker labels but are shimmery. Vanilla bean reminds me of the vanilla frosting lip sparkler, which is awesome! I can’t get enough of shimmer Lip Smackers.

    • emma on May 15, 2015 at 4:21 PM said:

Agree, agree, agree!!! I love this set, especially Vanilla Bean and Berry Pie! I would actually love to find a non shimmer dupe like Berry Pie for those days I don’t want shimmer 🙂

  13. I’ve noticed something about berry pie since I’ve been using it. It smells and tastes similar to the kiwi berry Sun Smacker, which is great because I loved that flavor, but I was allergic to it because of the SPF.
